Celebration Help Requested |
|
The servant team wanted to invite all of you to participate in upcoming network celebrations and social gatherings. As mentioned earlier, we plan to alternate between bi-monthly celebrations including worship, prayer, and testimony and bi-monthly social gatherings to which we can invite friends and neighbors. We would love to have some individuals or groups sign up to either organize social gatherings, lead worship at celebrations, be responsible to organize food, or do set up/tear down at celebrations and social events.
Below are some options for months with which you can sign up to help! Please let me know where you or your group would like to contribute.
March- planning social event
April- worship, org food, set up/tear down
May- planning social event
June- worship, org food, set up/ tear down
* July- probably date for swim party at Groffs! *
August- worship, org food, set up/tear down
Thank you all for considering how you may contribute to these times together. Blessings to you all!
Dawn for the servant team

Network Prayer Gatherings |
|
As a network, we have been sensing the need to be praying together more as a group. We desired to be more committed to prayer as a spiritual discipline, as well as prayer for one another and our friends for spiritual growth. We recognize a tendency among us and our friends to want to follow Jesus, but not be able to do so whole-heartedly because of cares and distractions that pull us in other directions.
You are invited to join us as we press in spiritually and ask God to move among us in greater ways. We believe that humility, prayer, and repentance invite God to extend his hand to us. II Chronicles 7:14 states that "if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land."
Many thanks to Wayne and Karla Martin for hosting these prayer times for the past season. In the next months we want to creatively look at how we can be engaging in strategic prayer in our neighborhoods. We are hoping to move the prayer times around to the different neighborhoods that we live in. As more details come, we will keep you updated.

Thursday Night Kid's Club |
|
The 2nd and 4th Thursday nights of each month the children from the Net-Lancaster can be found at the 3rd floor lounge of the Prince St. Cafe building. They meet from 7:00 - 8:30 p.m. for worship, teaching, crafts, snacks, and games.
Our vision for this is "A safe, fun place for children to learn about Jesus." I am particularly excited about this because these Kids' Club times are meant to be times of teaching and worship for the children. I am praying the Holy Spirit breathes life into this and that children come to love the Lord. Please join me in prayer for this as it comes to mind.
We hope to resume these times in the fall! :) More info to come.
